The Permanent exhibition displays crystals and minerals from Mont Blanc's terra-firma. Esthetic and fascinating, the visit will interest visitors of all ages. Temporary exhibitions are highly relevant, making geology interesting and easy to comprehend.

Open: daily from 10am to 1pm and from 2pm to 7pm.

Located in front of Mont Blanc, this reserve is teeming with rocks rich in iron oxide. The flora and fauna is diverse, thanks to the variation in altitude (between 1200 and 2965 meters). If you keep a low profile, you might be lucky to see animals such as marmots, white partdriges, ibex…

One of the highest peaks in the world, measuring 3842 metres. The view onto the Alps is simply breathtaking. Skilful skiers are able to join the White Valley from there; a sensational 'off the beaten track' itinerary. Guides will be able to provide you with some valuable aid, so do not hesitate to ask for their advice. Even in summer you will have to bring appropriate equipment (gloves and sunglasses). Observing mountaineers, as they prepare to climb Mont Blanc can be fascinating. You can gain access by cable car Aiguille du Midi.

Not nearly as famous as the mer de glace (Sea of Ice), in fact a rather quiet alternative. Basically, it is a 7km ice track offering you an educational walk. Different options are open to you : take the cable car or try a brisk walk through the woods.

Cable car Schedule: Daily from June 15th to September 15th and from  December 25th to March 30th.

The mer de glace (Sea of Ice) is one of the largest glaciers in Europe. Montenvers train will provide access to this marvel of nature. If you choose to walk the glacier you should consider wearing appropriate equipment. The view from here is simply incredible, along with the potential for memorable walks. Visits are available; the Ice Cave is one which reveals incredible variations of the colour blue

Visits occur all year round.

The White Valley is a 20km off piste ski route, including the Sea of Ice!

Depending on the snow level, the descent can go as far as Chamonix, or until Montenvers. If you choose Montenvers, take the glacier cable car to climb back up to the railway station; finish your journey by train.

The location of its terrace offers an amazing view of Mont Blanc. Sitting at 2000 metres, this restaurant is worth visiting, mainly for its spectacular scenery coupled with fine succulent meals.
