Custom itineraries in Jerusalem
Day 1 : Sight Seeing in Jerusalem: First Visit
Discover the Old City, with the Wailing Wall, the Dome of the Rock, Al Aqsa Mosque, and, in the Tower of David, the Museum of the History of Jerusalem, recounting 5000 years of the city’s history. Grab a quick lunch at Maoz Falafel or take your time at Nafoura. Through the Via Dolorosa, go up to the Holy Sepulcher, then wander in the souk of the Muslim district. To end your day, relax and meditate at the top of the Mount of Olives.
Day 2 : Historical Visits
To learn the history of the Holocaust, you have to visit the Yad Vashem Memorial, followed by the very interesting Museum of Israel. These fascinating visits will probably build up an apetite, so head to the museum casher restaurant or to Adom. Dress conservatively and have a walk in the orthodox district of Méa Shéarim. Later on relax your dress a little to spend the night in a bar or a club on Salomon street or Rivlin street.
Day 3 : Relax in Jerusalem
At Jaffa gate, go up onto the walls to discover the city’s gates, including Damascus gate and Zion gate. Then head towards the Dead Sea where you can have lunch at the Kibbutz Ein Gedi or at the restaurant of one of the Grand Hotels. Then, let yourself float in the sea, or enjoy the famous sulphurous bath or mud wraps. We recommend two beaches: Neve Midbar and Mineral Beach. Since nights in Tel Aviv are rather wild, stroll along the port and you will find many nice bars. Dance at the Azimut.
Day 4 : Excursions to Tel Aviv
Drive to Tel-Aviv to see the art galleries, the beaches and the nightlife! Have a lunch break at Catit or at Herbert Samuel. If you are looking for a cultural day, the Diaspora Museum and the Museum of Art are both very interesting. If you’d rather relax, take a stroll through the alleys of Neve Tsedek, both historic and trendy, or enjoy the market of Nahalat Binyamin.
