Second Bavarian lake, located on the Celtic amber trading road from where it probably found its name. Another super setting for water sports.

Created in 1903, this museum is entirely dedicated to science and technology, particularly the aviation industry. As the most important aeronautical museum in the world (18,000 items), it offers very professional exhibitions. Chemistry, ecology, energy take up as many departments that the museum presents.

A street incorporating numerous  shops, lofts and cafés; you’ll eventually find your way to the city University. Ludwig-Maximilian University was founded in the 15th century and has become the countries second largest institution, educating over 80,000 students.

This castle is a real jewel in a snow box, just like Louis II of Bavaria's dreams. Therefore, Louis II managed to escape from the noisy city. In fact, they used dynamite to obtain an  impression of a castle emerging from the rocks. Inside, you’ll discover some amazing technological wonders as well as exquisite furniture and ornaments. A very impressive place to visit.

Be at Marienplatz by noon and 5pm to see the bell (from the neo-Gothic tower) come to life!  You’ll discover a beautiful wedding scene and feel Munich’s heartbeat.

This is Mozart’s birthplace, and where he lived with his wife Anna-Maria for 26 years. Every piece of furniture dates back to Mozart’s century. The house pays host to musical instruments belonging to young Mozart. It is also a cultural centre, sometimes giving exhibitions on Mozart’s life and work, and a research centre for theatre history.

Open: every day from 9am to 5.30pm except during July and August (9am to 7pm).

The restaurant of  Bei Weirich Hotel offers generous Austrian food and home-made ice-creams. Try it then head down the slopes and view the pretty Neuschwanstein Castle.

Located 20 kilometres North-West of Munich, Dachau housed the first German concentration camp. 
A particularly emotional place to visit.

This gorgeous 17th century Baroque cathedral overlooks the entire city thanks to the two towers. During the Second World War, a bomb exploded  on the central dome, but was repaired in 1959. Guided tours are available so that you can be well updated on all Baroque elements of the sumptuous interior and the majestic facade.

It was built around the centre (dating back to1664) and offered by the Electoral Prince of Bavaria to his spouse when she gave birth to his heir. Building was completed 1730 and displays a mixture of baroque, rococo and neo-classic style.
