Day 1 : Sight Seeing in Rome: First visit

A good place to start your first day is at the Colosseum. You might be surprised by its excellent conservation despite the fact that it was built over 2000 years ago. Go to the Forum, the former square where the Roman politic was once carried out. Take via Alessadrina up to the remains of Trajan's Market. Then, return to the Piazza Venezia. Not far from here, have lunch on the terrace at the Vecchia Roma or at Renato e Luisa for a taste of new Italian cuisine. Then, relax on the Piazza of the Capitole. After a visit to the museums of the Capitol, approach the Campo dei Fiori, a square surrounded by beautiful old houses, then pass through the Pantheon. The small streets around the square are really typical and deserve a look! Finally, from via Chiavari enjoy Piazza Navona.

Day 3 : Excursions to the Vatican

Cross the Italian border to get to the Vatican. The tour is worth it just to see Saint Peter place and Saint Peter's Basilica, which is home to the tomb of St. Peter. You do not have to be christian to be amazed by this outstanding basilica! For those that are enthusiastic and very patient (expect an average of 2 hours of queuing...), take the time to visit the Vatican Museums, which also lead to the Sistine Chapel and the Raphael rooms. For lunch, we recommend you try the antipasti of the Hostaria - Dino Pizzeria & Toni.
