Transportation
Pudong Airport is 30 kilometres from the city.
- A cab ride costs between 15 and 20 yuan (i.e 1,50€ and 2€). There are three different categories of cab, fees being specific to each one. Check for the metre.
- Shanghai's subway is composed of 6 lines. A single ride ticket costs between 2 and 5 yuan.

Visa
To obtain a tourist visa, you have to make a request at the Chinese Embassy in France. Don't come with empty hands: you'll need a passport valid for at least 6 months after your date of return, a passport picture and a specific form delivered by the Chinese consulate. In most cases, you will have your visa within 5 days.
