From Marco Polo Airport, located 12 kilometres away from Venice, you have several solutions:
-The boat: the pier is about 10 minutes away from the terminal and the trip lasts for 1h15, for 13€
-The ATVO bus: 20 min: 3€
-The ATVO bus n°5: 40 min: 1€
-The taxi-boat: 30-50 min: around 100€ for 4 persons
Public transportation
1)Taxi
Cabs have been replaced by taxi-boats with a meter: 8,90€ + 1,80€/min. Perfect for groups.
2)Gondola
A gondola will cost you 80€ for 40 min during the day, 100€ at night and early in the morning.
3)Vaporetto
Vaporetto tickets cost 6,50€
Transit Pass: Biglietto a tempo: 24h = 16€, 72h = 31€. Unlimited access to all public transportations.
